Stay in the secluded natural paradise that surrounds the Cabarita Beachfront Hideaway Motel. The property sits on an acre of absolute beachfront, 20 minutes south of Coolangatta airport, 35 minutes north of Byron Bay, and 1 hour 15 minutes from Brisbane. It is 15 minutes to the expansive Tweed City Shopping Centre and 15 minutes to Centro Tweed Shopping Mall so you are right near all the action, without having to be part of it.
The building lies parallel to the beach in a relaxed tropical setting of palms and gardens, where the sound of waves on a beautiful white sand beach creates a magical blend of peace and quiet away from the high pressure tourist scene. Lay back and watch the waves and, if you’re lucky, a dolphin or whale at play.
We offer 14 spacious rooms comprising three categories, Garden View, Ocean View and Family. Garden rooms are at ground level and look out onto lawns, palm gardens and our luxurious15 metre swimming pool, with the beach directly behind. Ocean rooms are on the first floor and overlook the same garden with pleasurable views of the waves rolling in to the beach. All rooms have a balcony with romantic setting for two, especially upstairs. We have 3 Family rooms (2 ground and 1 first floor), which have a separate room and sleep up to 6 persons.
Our rooms are very clean and fully self- contained (TV, cooking facilities, fridge, crockery, cutlery, linen, fan, and heater). We offer a comprehensive breakfast menu, which you can enjoy in your room or on the balcony. A lovely barbeque and several outside eating areas are set around the gardens.
Most guests simply park their car for the duration of the stay and walk (less than a minute) to the sidewalk cafes (Thai, Italian, Mexican, Euro-Afro), fast foods, or visit the Beach bar or bowling club.
