Diamond Head Walk - Diamond Head

Located in the Crowdy Bay National Park, the Diamond Head Walk offers one of the most diverse and spectacular short coastal walks in NSW. You can start from either Diamond or Indian Heads camp grounds. Diamond Head rises 113 metres above sea level and this track offers panoramic views across Crowdy Bay, the mountains and forests of the coastal hinterland, north to Perpendicular Point at the mouth of the Camden Haven River and south to Crowdy Head. The walk passes through coastal heath, blackbutt forest and even a small pocket of rainforest. NPWS advise that this is a 'moderate' grade walk and to allow two hours. Check out 'Kylies Hut', the retreat of author Kylie Tennant last century.

Please note: Diamond Head camp ground is closed for renovations until August 2014.
