Fire in the Belly has been voted 'Best Pizza Restaurant' in Australia. They specialise in Australian Italian meals and wood fired pizzas. They have a vibrant, friendly, funky atmosphere and seat about 100 people with a courtyard that seats 35 people and is one of Lismore's most popular restaurants. The wood fired oven has been sculptured into a giant red dragon and has to be seen to be believed!
Fire in the Belly pizzas come in regular size (9 inch) or large size (12 inch) and are baked the traditional way on the hearth floor of the wood fired oven. The bases are made from organic flours and topped with homemade tomato and herb sauce. All pizzas are topped with mozzarella cheese unless otherwise specified, and only the freshest of ingredients are used. Takeaway pizza, pasta and house-made dessert are available. Bookings are highly recommended. The restaurant is fully licensed.
