Bushmans Hut

The huts are made from rustic timber sleeper offcuts, lined with canvas, and covered with a corrugated iron roof.
The comfortable room with a double bed opens out onto a small veranda area. The shared camp kitchen facility is a short walk away. The kitchen has a solar powered fridge, gas burners, inside wood fired barbeque, a wood fired pizza oven, and wildlife proof food storage area. The solar heated showers and composting toilets are also only a short walk away.
Choose your sleeping style from our secluded huts, either a comfortable double bed or four berth bunk style beds.

Camping on the Clarence

If camping by the river and waking to the sounds of the magpies warbling or rising early to spot a platypus are what you have in mind for your next wilderness camping holiday, Clarence River Wilderness Lodge is the place for you. With only a limited number of campsites available you will definitely see some native wildlife and be able to enjoy your own piece of paradise.
Composting toilets and solar powered hot showers mean your holiday can have minimal impact with maximum comfort. There are established campfires and you can collect wood from around the property or purchase it from the lodge.

Self-Contained Cabins

Your holiday at The Clarence River Wilderness Lodge will be set in the wilderness with all the comforts of home. You will be provided with a fully functioning kitchen with all cooking and eating utensils, a comfortable double bed as well as a number of single bunk beds to sleep the whole family.
Hot showers and a slow combustion wood heater will keep you warm and cosy. There is also an outdoor paved open fireplace with barbeque, for those who enjoy food cooked over an open fire and evenings under the stars. The Clarence River Wilderness Lodge has two of these rustic cabins, one of them will accommodate four people and the other will hold eight.
