North Coast Events

The North Coast of NSW boasts lush hinterland, great surf beaches, and some of the most accessible coastline in Australia, and it's the ideal setting for some of the state’s top events and festivals.

Whether you’re keen to check out the local markets, enjoy food, wine and produce at some of the region’s food festivals, or see some of the top local and international music acts play some of Australia’s best festivals, the North Coasts’ packed events schedule offers something for you.

Just two hours north of Sydney, check out the events on offer in the harbour city of Newcastle, with everything from organic markets to gigs to top surfing events. Just a little further north in Port Stephens, fishing, boating and kid-friendly events are all the rage. The popular holiday towns of Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour boast some fabulous music and sporting events, while Byron Bay and surrounds play host to some of the country’s top festivals.
