Sherwood Nature Reserve is located west of Woolgoolga. Landscapes in the Sherwood Nature Reserve range from rugged sandstone escarpments and coastal ridges with dry open forests and heaths, to sub tropical rainforest gullies.
Picnic or barbecue in picturesque Woolgoolga Creek picnic area and take an easy three kilometre return walk to the waterfall through the rainforest along the creek.
