Central Coast Steam Model Co-op Ltd - Narara
The Central Coast Steam Model Co-op Ltd is a non profit organisation, and one of a number of miniature railways. They have a variety of almost 20 locomotives with several more nearing completion. They operate on two gauges as you will notice if you study the track. All the engines have been hand made and represent many thousands of man hours by their proud owners. The construction can only be described as a labour of love for the time and effort put into a loco's construction and could never be recouped in straight money terms.
There are driveways and disabled parking along with footpaths suitable for disabled access. A party area has many tables and seating along with its own station. The main station Narara Junction, has been doubled in size and a roof has been erected over the locomotive steaming bay. A signalling system now controls the train movements.
