Lake Glenbawn Recreation Area

Lake Glenbawn Holiday and Recreation Park is located in the Upper Hunter Region, just 15 minutes past Scone. This large spacious park offers a family holiday or a day trip with a difference. Set on the banks of Glenbawn Dam in a rural backdrop, the Park offers a wonderful diversity of bushland, wildlife and adventure.

Lake Glenbawn is also one of the best freshwater fishing spots in NSW. Cast a line and you can catch the famous 'big bass', golden perch (yellow belly) and catfish. Water sports are popular, including canoeing, pleasure boating, sailing and wind surfing water skiing and wake boarding.
