About

In the beautiful Wollombi Valley, Avoca House is a unique country retreat with two spacious modern accommodation wings linked to the main homestead by wrap-around vine covered verandas (north and south wings). Both wings offer private living areas, en suites, vine-covered verandas, country views and a charming central courtyard. Accommodates 8 to 10 guests combined. Only two kilometres from Wollombi Village and wineries.

The five generously appointed bedrooms are supplied with premium linen, cosy blankets and towels. Two of the three modern bathrooms have underfloor heating and each wing contains separate living areas with fireplace, air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities.

Enjoy a scrumptious homemade hearty cooked breakfast including fresh espresso coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice served in the homestead dining room or sunny courtyard.

Mid-week (Monday to Thursday) evening meals provided by arrangement. Either prepared for you and served in your room or a barbecue hamper provided.

Room and Breakfast. Base rate AUD200 share bathroom. Higher rate for en suite.
Large windows of each of the two bedrooms provide views across the property up to the Corrabare State forest, making these generously proportioned rooms most peaceful. This two bedroom, one bathroom suite can accommodate up to four guests: one queen bedroom and one twin bedroom (one double bed and one single bed). Large living area with leather lounge, dining table and slow combustion log fire, ceiling fans and air-conditioning.

A large veranda sweeps around to the south wing with views onto the wetland lake and ponds that are full of diverse birdlife. This suite is centred around a main living area with fireplace, comfortable lounges, CD player, tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge.

This three bedroom, two bathroom suite can accommodate up to six guests.

The suite has one queen room with en suite; and one queen bedroom with a two-way bathroom and adjoining twin room, perfect to share or use as a queen en suite. Both bathrooms with under floor heating.
