Just 14 kilometres out of Dungog you will find Bandon Grove School House built in 1882, the original school house and teachers residence have been refurbished to provide top quality self-catered accommodation.

Accommodating up to three or four families, the Bandon Grove Schoolhouse is a great base for walking, cycling, swimming and canoeing. There is a flood lit tennis court, sandpit and giant cubby house.

For the less energetic there are many sunny verandas where you can retreat with a good book. In the country town of Dungog there are a number of cafes, pubs and a shopping centre. The commercial kitchen opens onto a sunny courtyard and joins a large living room with a log fire.

The Bunkhouse is detached from the main house and consists of four double bunks, with access to two toilets and two showers.
