Federation Star - Murrumburrah
The Federation Star is a stainless steel sculptural obelisk 16 metres high and illuminated at night.
Surmounted by two intersecting seven-pointed Federation Stars, the monument celebrates the Centenary of Federation in 2001. It was designed and created by Murrumburran resident Russell Muirheard, using recycled stainless steel.
The four faces are etched with indigenous designs, livestock, horticultural and cereal motifs that reflect the history of the area.
