Warrumbungle National Park Discovery Program - Coonabarabran

** Wambelong picnic area and Whitegum Lookout are now open for day visitors. There is currently no camping in Warrumbungle National Park. Tara Cave in Warrumbungle National Park is one of the sites used traditionally by Gamilaraay people for many thousands of years. The tour gives you an understanding of the first people to live in the Warrumbungles. Please note Tara Cave is not accessible to the public without a Discovery Ranger.
