You can see items from the river boat days, settlement of the area, items relating to the coming of rail, logging the forests and much more. The museum contains information and photos relating to the pioneer residents and old buildings in the town, much of which date from the earlier portion of the pioneer era.

Groups and students are welcome. A guide to the collection is available by appointment. Several of the members are very experienced researchers, addressing enquiries for research from the general public, and indexing local newspapers from 1850.
