Athol Gallen Park is a small park situated off Walter Rodd Street in the South Eastern residential area of Gunnedah, near Porcupine Lookout. It is part of five acres of land that was donated by a well-known resident Athol Gallen in 1970.
Athol Gallen Park includes playground equipment, a sheltered picnic table and a bench. There is also a bike track surrounding the equipment for kids. Look up into the scattered Gum trees around the Park, you may spot a koala snoozing in the tree tops.
