In the heart of the Southern Highlands, the Bowral Autumn Music Festival has established itself as one of the highlights of the year.
The Artistic Director, Myee Clohessy, has invited an exceptional line up of performers for 2017 offering something for chamber music lovers of all tastes. Glorious music by Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Brahms will delight along with beautiful new works by Australian composers Ross Edwards, Sally Whitwell, Ann Carr- Boyd, Dan Walker, Percy Grainger and Nicholas Vines.
The acclaimed Acacia Quartet will be at the core of the Festival and will be joined by eight world-class performers; David Griffiths, Phillip Shovk, Jane Sheldon, Anna Fraser, Andrew Goodwin, David Greco, Robert Ampt. There will also be an exhilarating concert especially for families by the award-winning percussion group Taik Oz and two new Rising Stars concerts featuring young Australian talent aiming to inspire the younger generation.
