Roughly a four-hour drive west of Sydney, the town of Orange is best known for its production of fruits such as apples, peaches, pears, apricots, plums, cherries and more. As Orange’s cool climate and vineyards have also given rise to a number of fine wines, the town is now recognised as a major gourmet food destination within regional NSW.

Orange plays host to a number of events throughout the year, with a particular emphasis on farmers markets, which are popular with the local residents, as well as food and wine festivals which draw visitors from all over the state.
