Charles Sturt University Winery - Orange
Established in 1977, the CSU Winery is a producer of premium wines and is an integral part of Australia's leading wine science school: putting Australia at the forefront of viticulture practices and winemaking techniques. The winery focuses on excellence, using state of the art technology without sacrificing tradition.
Wines from CSU Winery have been awarded 23 trophies, 85 gold, 164 silver and 396 bronze medals in national wine shows and is the proud winner of the 2010 Inland Tourism Award.
The winery cellar door is open for tastings and sales seven days a week and also provides tasting and sales of the Universities range of farmhouse cheeses made with Australian native flavours. The Cellar Door also sells the University's own olive oil.
Enjoy CSU wine in moderation and be part of Australia's wine making future.
Opening times
11am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 11am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Tours of the Cheese Factory are by appointment only - $8.00 per person. 11am - 4pm. Closed Good Friday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day.
