On a glorious site, high above the bustling city and overlooking lush countryside is Borrodell Vineyard, a luxury hideaway amongst the grape vines - one of Australia's highest!
Borrodell Vineyard is nestled in the lee of Mount Canobolas on the slopes of the Towac Valley. It is an 84 acre vineyard, cherry, plum and heritage apple orchard and trufferie. Ten minutes from Orange NSW and adjacent to Lake Canobolas, the rich volcanic soils and 1000-metre elevation ensures the best of cool climate wines and produce. The cellar door is open seven days for tasting the award-winning Alpine Wines.
Accommodation available on the property includes two secluded self-contained cottages named Chardonnay, as it's surrounded by chardonnay grapevines and Truffle, close to the Trufferie
Sister's Rock Restaurant onsite provides ravishing meals and unforgettable views across the vineyard and valley, a truly unique dining experience. The restaurant is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Opening times
Cellar door is open 7 days for tastings. Lunch: Fri, Sat & Sun 12 - 3pm. Dinner: Fri & Sat from 6pm. Breakfast: Sun 9:30 - 11am.
