The Mudgee Fine Foods Farmers Markets are held in the picturesque grounds of St Marys Church, every third Saturday of the month.
There are up to 50 stallholders there with a range of goods from the Mudgee area. Everything sold has to be grown, baked, smoked, cooked, or made within a 100 mile radius of the town. There is a strong presence of organic or chemical free products with several farmers having full organic certification.
Bread, olives and olive products, wine, lamb (including lamb pies), fruit, jams, tapenades, cup cakes, fresh juice (summer), coffee (Fish River Roasters), pates, preserves, pickles, sauces, wine fudge, sheep and goat cheese, fresh vegetables and herbs, native plants, bread, macaroons, sausage rolls, mustards, and wine jellies are some of the products regularly available.
There are also regular kids cooking classes at most of the markets. Local musicians provide live music at each market.
