Gulgong Pioneer Museum - Gulgong
Described as the finest collection of Australiana in the country, the Gulgong Pioneer Museum is set on an acre of land in the heritage town of Gulgong. The Museum contains a wide range of period costumes, rare 19th Century crockery and furniture. A stone cottage has been relocated in the grounds. The Museum has copies of the Holterman collection of historical photographs and a fully restored Cobb and Co coach, along with other horse drawn vehicles.
The Museum of Sight and Sound is devoted to the history of Australian cinematography and sound recording.
Opening times
9am to 5pm daily Closed Christmas Day and half day Anzac Day
