The John Lake Centre features an aquarium with many fish species of the Murray Darling system in particular the icon of the river system, the mighty Murray Cod.
Have a close encounter with native and endangered bred species of the Murray Darling river system, as well as other interesting locals such as the Murray Cray, the Long Neck Turtle and the endangered Trout Cod and Purple Spotted Gudgeon.
The theatrette presents a video on the centres research into endangered and threatened species, it provides visitors with a better understanding about conservation and breeding of native fish species and while observing the spawning and breeding techniques.
Feed the fish with a bag of pellets and see the fish rise.
