Bishops Lodge Historic House and Heritage Rose Garden - Hay
Bishop's Lodge is a remarkable iron building, constructed in 1888 as home of the first Anglican Bishop of the Riverina. It features unique architecture, reflecting the climatic conditions of the Riverina, including corrugated iron on the outside and saw dust for insulation. There are also attractive gardens in the grounds, including an acclaimed collection of heritage roses.
Morning and afternoon teas and light lunches can be served to groups, by appointment.
The Bishop's Lodge Spring Market is held on the third Sunday in October.
Opening times
Open daily 2pm - 4.30pm. Closed on Sundays.
