Occupying the original Glen Innes Hospital, the Land Of The Beardies History House Museum and Research Centre showcases the history of Glen Innes and District with exhibits in over 25 rooms and outdoor areas. Extensive archives allow family researchers to obtain details (appointment essential). For research forms see the Beardies History House website.
Features include: Services Memorial Room, hospital kitchen and medical wing, diorama displays and Celtic room.
Free cuppa at 10am and around 3pm daily.
Catering for coach groups can be arranged.
Opening times
10am - 12noon and 1pm - 4pm Monday to Friday; Saturday and Sunday 1pm - 4pm. 9am - 4pm. Closed Good Friday, Anzac Morning, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
