Visit Swan Hill’s Pioneer Settlement, a re-creation of a port town during the paddle steamer era.
Be sure to visit in June for the Deni Ute Muster which holds the world record for the most utes mustered in one place. Wander through the Waring Gardens around lagoons and trees dating from the 19th century.
Steam train enthusiasts will not be disappointed by a visit to The Pioneer Steam Museum which houses a large collection of steam engines and pumps. Take a peek at the preserved school classroom, among other historical exhibitions at the Peppin Heritage Centre.
