Caves House is nestled in a valley in the Blue Mountains World Heritage area, a short walk from the amazing Jenolan Caves, one of the most spectacular and oldest cave systems in the world.
Caves House features warm country hospitality, grand dining, log fires and indulgence. It has been an iconic wilderness getaway for pampered explorers, since 1896 and is the only remaining guesthouse of its kind in Australia.
In the original hotel, atmospheric 'classic' bedrooms feature period furnishings.
The Mountain Lodge features modern, spacious bedrooms with kitchenettes and microwaves.
The Gate House offers queen size beds, plus bunks and shared facilities, perfect for backpackers or large families on a budget.
Ten self-contained cottages are great for families or groups of friends.
The bistro is open throughout the day, serving light meals, drinks and snacks. Award-winning Chisolm's Restaurant, the grand dining room, is open from 6pm every evening.
