Nature in Mount Victoria

Natural wonders abound in and around Mount Victoria. You'll find fantastic walking tracks and, of course, the town sits in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

Experience Nature in the Blue Mountains

Bushwalking is a favourite activity in the Blue Mountains, an area famous for having one million hectares of World Heritage-listed landscape. There are hundreds of walking tracks in the area taking you past breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains that surround you.

Go for a drive along the Greater Blue Mountains Drive which links the spectacular world heritage landscape to the regions that surround it covering over 1,200 kilometres. Go horse riding through the Megalong Valley or if you're more adventurous go abseiling in the Wollemi National Park.

Take a guided tour of Jenolan Caves near Lithgow and see the magnificent Lucas, Imperial or Chifley Caves or if you have more time wander through the Orient Cave which has delicate crystalline decorations. Visit mount Tomah Botanic Gardens in Mount Tomah to see one of the world's oldest and rarest plants, the Wollemi Pine.
