The General Managers' Cottage
Per Unit. $450 minimum for weekend. The General Managers' is situated on a property of 250 acres at the end of a valley in Glen Davis. It is very private, is surrounded by the Wollemi National Park and its majestic escarpments and sits at the head of the Colo River and the wilderness beyond.
The Manager's house has been refurbished and accommodates seven people comfortably. It has a large living room with combustion heater, sunroom, three bedrooms, kitchen and two bathrooms.
Fully equipped and meals can be organised.
Tours of the Glen Davis Works can be arranged for AUD15 per person. Facilities: Blankets, Cot, Crockery/Cutlery, Electric Blanket, Full kitchen and cooking facilities, Heating, Microwave oven, Open fireplace, Refrigerator, Stereo/CD player.

The Inspectors' Cottage

Per Unit. Per night per person or less depending on no. of people and no. of nights $450 minimum per weekend. The Kurrajongs Homestead is 13 kilometres up the road and is site on a 350 acre rural property offering a rambling rustic farmhouse accommodating up to 10 people. Features include: four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, huge living areas and internal and external verandas.
Tours of the Glen Davis Works can be arranged for AUD15 per person. The Last Resort
Per Unit. $350 minimum per weekend. The Last Resort is 13 kilometres up the road and is site on 320 acres of pasture and bush with stunning views and is suitable for two to four people. It is a slab hut and has one bedroom with a queen size bed and one bedroom with two singles, a living room with combustion stove, cooker, sink etc. It is set up on alternate energy, sits in a remote site with views over to the mountains.
Tours of the Glen Davis Works can be arranged for AUD15 per person. Facilities: Balcony, Blankets, Full kitchen and cooking facilities, Heating, Kitchenette, Refrigerator, Tea/Coffee making facilities.

Glen Davis Works lies adjacent to the Wollemi National Park at the head of the Colo River surrounded by the majestic escarpments of the Capertee Valley, just a little over three hours from Sydney.
The two houses on the property have been restored to every modern comfort, built in 1938 for the Manager and Director of the National Oil Co which was commissioned to open the oil shale processing works at Glen Davis.
Each house accommodates up to nine people and is extremely comfortable with everything included (bedding, doonas, pillows, electric blankets, modern kitchens, espresso coffee machine and barbecue's).
Although self-contained, meals can be arranged if required.
The property is extremely private, on 250 acres and encompasses the ruins of the oil shale plant. Historic tours of the ruins conducted every Saturday at 2pm; meet at the front gates.
Bird watching and art workshops can be arranged on request.
