Thunder Jet Boat Ride
Head out East past the Sydney Opera House where you will feel the need to hold on tight as you’re thrown back into your custom bucket seats, as the Thunder opens up. Then you experience what jet boating is all about from amazing slides, sweeping fishtails, wild wave riding. You will head up towards the Heads, around the harbour islands, then turn around and make your way under the Harbour Bridge and back to the reality and tranquillity of Circular Quay.
Ride duration: up to 30 minutes
Departs: From 10:30am daily
$50 Adults
$35 Kids (minimum height - 130cm)
Where does Thunder Jet Boat depart from?
We depart daily from Circular Quay East –Jetty 1. (This is the Pontoon between the Opera House and the Sydney Ferries)
What do I wear?
It is best to wear comfortable clothing. But because of Thunder Jet Boats unique design the ladies are able to wear skirts, high heels etc. as you do not have to climb over any of the sides. We have steps fitted to the vessel for ease of getting in and out of the vessels, and an isle down the middle to get to your seat – unlike any Jet Boat on Sydney Harbour!
Are there any restrictions to riding Thunder Jet Down Under?
The only restrictions are that all children must be over 130cm, age is not a factor. All passengers should be able to reach the handrails.
How long do the rides go for?
It varies on which ride you have chosen, ‘Thunder Jet Boat Ride’ is 30 mins, and the ‘Extreme Adrenalin Rush’ is 45 mins. Of course if you chartered the Jet boat it can be chartered for however long or short.
What is the difference between the ‘Thunder Jet Boat Ride’ and the ‘Extreme Adrenalin Rush?
Not only is ‘Extreme Adrenalin Rush’ a longer ride, but it takes you to the extremes of Sydney Harbour. It allows you to take in more of the sights that you wouldn’t see on the ‘Thunder Jet Boat Ride!
