This park surrounds the spectacular granite gorges and rainforest-lined banks of the rugged Nymboida River. The Nymboida rapids are renowned among white-water enthusiasts, and rafting is certainly the best way to fully appreciate the river's stunning beauty.
The park also contains parts of the Little Nymboida river and well-known recreational spots at Cod Hole and The Junction. Rainforest and extensive old-growth forest provide habitat for a variety of threatened fauna. The park provides habitat for approximately 15 threatened species and the rivers, creeks and drainage lines provide pristine habitat for a wide range of rare or threatened frogs.
Nymboi-Binderay National Park lies north of Dorrigo and comprises part of the former Wild Cattle Creek, Clouds Creek and Kangaroo Creek state forests. It includes patches of the rare Dorrigo white gum.

The Nymboida River is one of the worlds’ classic white-water rafting rivers. Explore this uniquely Australian environment varying from temperate rainforest to granite and basalt gorges from the river.
Located within the Nymboi-Binderay National Park the Nymboida River has gouged spectacular sheer-sided gorges, where raging rapids are interspersed with deep still pools. Moderate to challenging for novice & experienced rafters, minimum age 14 years/40 kg.
Grading: The rapids of the Nymboida River range from Grade 3 to Grade 5.
Fitness: Health and fitness concerns should be discussed at time of booking. Rule of thumb is that participants should be able to swim under a breaking wave in the ocean.
Equipment: The equipment is registered under the NSW White-water Code of Operations (NSW Waterways). All customers must wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and Helmet at all times while on the river.
Staff: Their friendly and professional guide in every raft is registered under the NSW Waterways White-water Code of operations.
Facilities: Toilets are available at the departure & arrival points on the Nymboida River. There are NO toilet facilities available during the rafting trip. Customers are advised to use the toilet facilities at their accommodation prior to their pick-up.
Catering: Tour includes morning tea prior to commencement of rafting tour, snacks on the riverbank & afternoon tea at completion of tour prior to return trip to your accommodation.
Personal requirements: Footwear such as joggers, to wear in the river that will get wet, sunscreen, swimwear, cap.
The two-day tour includes overnight camping on the riverbank, dinner & breakfast.
All camping equipment and sleeping bags included.
