Schönegg has six guest rooms, each with flexible configurations. Schönegg can accommodate up to 14 people and all rooms are AAA Tourism 4 ½ star rating.
All rooms feature shaded private decks, CD stereos, ceiling fans and fresh flowers. Deluxe rooms include in-slab heating. Premium rooms are air-conditioned and have refrigerators and tea and coffee making facilities.
Bookings include a glass of local wine and canapés, a sumptuous continental breakfast buffet and a la carte cooked breakfast.

As members of the Canberra Slow Food Convivium, they take their produce seriously. Their seasonal menus feature produce from their gardens and local suppliers including Kiah free range eggs, La Barre olive oil and Art of Espresso coffee.
As they produce all their own food on site, including breads, stocks, pastries and desserts, they are happy to cater for any special requests (such as birthday cakes) or dietary restrictions.
Their wine list showcases an excellent selection of Murrumbateman wines. Beers, spirits and liqueurs are also available.

The Murrumbateman Moving Feast will be held on the weekend of 4 & 5th October, 2008. Thirteen local wineries are participating, each offering a main meal and/or dessert, perfectly matched with one of their wines.
Just a 30 minute drive from the centre of Canberra, or a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, you can move between wineries and cafes and discover exceptional wines matched with gastronomical delights! Spend a day, or a long weekend, indulging in the best of Canberra Region food and wine at the cafes, wineries and B&Bs.
The winemakers of Murrumbateman are committed to a safe environment and encourage responsible service of alcohol. As part of the Feast all dishes can be accompanied by a free soft drink, tea or coffee in place of wine.
