Vespa Café Ristorante

Vespa is a family-friendly, family run Café Ristorante with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During the morning and all day on the weekend it serves hearty breakfasts along with homemade cakes, fresh juices, smoothies, and great Mokador coffee.

Lunch consists of a variety of paninis, salads, and fresh, flavoursome pasta dishes while the dinner menu offers an array of handmade ravioli and gnocchi with traditional sauces and dishes inspired from all over Italy.

Specials are created from traditional recipes covering all regions in Italy and are changed on a weekly basis.

The restaurant interior is inspired by the rounded shape of a Vespa wheel hub, the walls are scattered with posters of great Italian movie characters and a variety of Italian music plays in the background.

There is a large leafy courtyard out the back that fits 10 tables with approximately 43 people outside. The courtyard is enclosed with a roof and fencing and is heated for the cooler months. There’s also a garden and fish tank in the courtyard.

Vespa has a relaxed vibe and is a great place to hang out day and night with family and friends or to just kick back and read the paper.

Deus Café

The Deus Café is attached to the Deus Ex Machina Showroom in Camperdown. The café is an extension of the Deus experience blurring the line between motorcycles and brioche.

A Robert Moore instillation of painted race numbers presides over the assembly of oversized communal teak tables, cane sofa corners and the plethora of hanging artwork.

Chef Pierre has a penchant for sharp knives and is the Yoda of proper French pastry. They call him Mr. Delicious. At the front of the house is Greg who is also a partner in the café.
