The interesting thing about tea is that although there are so many different varieties, each flavour comes from the same leaf. The part of the leaf, how much it has grown, and the drying process all contribute to the end result, and it can be the difference between white, black and green tea.

When you book in for the Madura Tea Estates tour you’ll learn a heap more and see the process from start to finish. The leaves are picked then processed by a machine that cuts them all up. Once that’s done it’s left to ferment, before going through a drying machine and voila! You’ve bagged the perfect cuppa.
