Eating Out - Harbourside Dining On Any Budget

Reporter: ADAM DIGBY

Aaahh … Sydney Harbour. We’re so lucky to have it and nothing beats a long lunch or a cosy dinner by one of the greatest waterfronts in the world.  Whether you’re watching your wallet or looking to splurge … dining on Sydney Harbour can be done on ANY budget.

Poolside Café @ Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton

The iconic Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool is a breathtaking historic site on the shores of Woolloomooloo Bay.

It has been consistently voted one of Sydney’s most popular swimming spots thanks to its amazing location - located on the fringe of the Royal Botanic Gardens, this inner city pool has a prime position with the leafy precinct of Mrs Macquarie’s Point on one side and the sleek Woolloomooloo Wharf on the other.

The Poolside Café at Andrew (Boy) Charlton is actually suspended over the pool and it has floor-to-ceiling glass windows ensuring that diners make the most of the million dollar view.

The meals at the Poolside Café are modern Australian and very reasonably priced for such an amazing location! Who said you had to spend a fortune to dine on the harbour???
