Winter is well and truly here…so here are a couple of restaurants that’ll really warm you up.
When the winter woollies come out, heavy Austrian meaty dishes are sure to warm you up. Offspring of the Darlinghurst institution, Una's Ultimo serves the same more-ish, Austrian/European home cooking that keeps the regulars returning. Plate-sized veal and chicken schnitzel, and crispy, creamy potato rosti are some of the drawcards that keep them coming back for more.

Bukhara means hungry, so make sure to bring your appetite.
Bukhara's decor is unlike most Indian restaurants, spacious and decorated with cane furnishings, soft lighting with the wrap-around windows giving you a view of leafy Cross Street.

Bukhara specialises in Southern Indian dishes which emphasises the use of spices, curry leaves and coconut milk, as well as Mauritian cuisine. Choose from a tempting variety of Tandoori dishes from the Tandoori clay oven.
Bukhara is a smart yet casual Indian restaurant, serving up Nouvelle Indian and Mauritian with a splash of Creole from an open kitchen. It’s the distinctive Mauritian bent that sets Bukhara apart from other Sydney Indian restaurants. Those not familiar with Mauritian Indian food will find this a good place to start exploring the light tomato flavoured dishes and seafood.
Combining both Indian and Mauritian influences, this restaurant is set amongst the chic boutiques of Double Bay - but thankfully lacks the typical Double Bay price tags. The Mauritian influence adds a point of difference to the primarily Indian fare and makes for a delightfully unique gastronomic experience.
