Civic Dining
CIVIC provides diners with a unique experience with warm service and innovative food. The newly revamped restaurant sits atop this long established hotel – and it’s a revamp that has the foodies lining up out the door and round the corner.

Chef Peter Conistis, formerly of Omega, continues to wow diners with his modern Greek fare, adding a touch of Mediterranean influence. The dish that made him famous: moussaka of eggplant, seared scallops and taramasalata is thankfully on the menu. Also on the highly recommended list is the very popular duck confit and quince pie served with potato walnut skordalia and pomegranate sauce.

The menu has a seasonal focus and Conistis has plans to expand on it in the near future. The wine list is firmly planted in Australia with a few Spanish and Greek choices working their way in to complement Conistis’ creations.
