The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse can be experienced at Stanwell Park. Located 80km south of the Sydney CBD via the Princes Highway, Stanwell Park was one of the first settlements south of the Royal National Park. Situated directly on the coast, Stanwell Park offers fantastic views across the Pacific Ocean or inland over Stanwell Park Beach and Stanwell Tops, noted as NSW’s best hand gliding location.

“The Lighthouse” occupies arguably the best position in Stanwell Park, overlooking the ocean at the south end of the beach. The house faces onto an unfenced garden and grassy area that offer magnificent dining and entertaining views at all hours, and allows the sunrise and sunset to be experienced in unparalleled surrounds.

The Lighthouse was renovated 5 years ago, and has the following features:

  • Extensive panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean and Stanwell Park Beach
  • 4 Bedrooms - The Lighthouse is able to accommodate parties of up to 8 persons at any time. It features 3 double beds (each located in a separate bedroom) and 2 single (bunk) beds located together in a 4th bedroom. One of the double beds is located in the Cabaña. No pets are permitted, however. The Lighthouse comes equipped with doonas, woollen blankets and pillows. It is necessary, however, that guests provide their own linen (e.g. sheets, pillow cases and towels).
  • 1 Bathroom - featuring shower, toilet and basin.
  • Modern Kitchen - There is also seating for 6 inside around the inside dining table. There is a modern kitchen with stainless steel oven and gas stove, dishwasher, large capacity fridge, microwave and cutlery, crockery and glassware.
  • Lounge/Dining Area - there is a TV, DVD, some books, games, a CD stereo player and a washing machine and dryer.
  • Outside Deck - The Lighthouse also features a large and spacious deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Stanwell Park Beach, perfect for entertaining. This deck is complimented by a 6 person outdoor seating arrangement, and a BBQ.

NB: the front garden/grassed area fronting onto the sheer cliff is not fenced; toddlers and youngsters are not recommended and/or must be carefully supervised. For more details, please contact the agent.
