Uniquely designed around the theatre of a working coffee roastery, it includes a very popular espresso bar with indoor and outdoor seating, a fresh coffee bean store, specialist coffeeware store, and coffee-training and appreciation courses designed for the “home barista”.

At Argosini you can see a big variety of raw green beans imported from the world’s top coffee-growing countries, then watch the blending of these beans, the roasting, grinding and packaging of the beans, and the making of fresh espresso. This is the Argosini experience, and it will help you appreciate the distinctive difference and amazing taste of truly fresh, expertly blended, batch-roasted coffee.
You can buy freshly roasted whole and ground beans directly from the roastery, and enjoy a delicious fresh cup at the espresso bar. There are 10 different Argosini coffee blends to choose from as beans or ground to your preference. They can even roast personalised varietals on request, although minimum quantities apply.
Argosini is Sydney’s only complete coffee store selling not only the freshest coffee but also everything else you need to enjoy a great tasting cup of coffee at home. It has a wide range of coffee accessories to help you store, make, serve and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in style.
In the Coffeeware section of the store, you can find an exclusive range of Argosini’s professional standard coffee machines, coffee cups, burr grinders, double walled stainless steel plungers, moka pots and other essential tools and accessories.
Coffee Appreciation Class
This is a coffee appreciation course that encompasses all aspects of the coffee experience. Whilst the course is not designed around a hands on coffee making program, the class is actively involved in basic barista techniques on the three group commercial machine. This gives you an idea of what is involved in the commercial coffee making environment and is an insightful look at the other side of the machine.
The coffee appreciation course is also unique in that you cover blending and roasting and course members are given the opportunity to try their hand at blending and then roasting under supervision. This has been a hugely popular aspect of the course.
Home Barista Class
The home barista courses are designed for beginners and for those who are keen to improve on their existing coffee making skills.
The Argosini course is very hands on. A large part of the 3 hour course is spent training and practising on AX 15 Comet domestic espresso machines. However those who already have an espresso machine at home are encouraged to bring their own if they wish.
The course also includes relevant background information on coffee, and concludes with some Argosini take home packs as part of the course fee. Numbers are limited to no more than 6-8 people per course.
