It’s Easter, so Mel is hunting for chocolate…and she’s found a couple of restaurants that are dishing up some yummo chocolate desserts at Wildwater Grill in Dee Why and Alchemy 731 in Mosman…and the recipes for both dishes are in our book – Eating In Eating Out!
If you want to make a splash and dine in at the next big thing, head to the beach and book a table at the newly opened Wildwater Grill at Dee Why.
Sit back and enjoy the sunrise over the beach with wild breakfasts like Belgian waffles with maple syrup, seasonal berries and vanilla ice cream; Spanish frittata with chorizo, feta, spinach and fire-roasted peppers; and for a big breakfast, tuck into the char-grilled sirloin with fried eggs, smashed potatoes, wilted spinach and hollandaise sauce.

Once you’ve had a swim, ride the wave and come back to Wildwater for lunch. You’ll be washed away by the beef burger packed with lean beef, smoked bacon and melted cheese; the salt & pepper soft shell crab salad; or for a zesty kick, go the prawns Mozambique-style with perri perri and lemon butter.
And don’t think the tasty food and fabulous views stop at lunchtime. At Wildwater Grill the char-grilled steaks, ribs and seafood are the specialty dishes so no meal is complete without something straight from the grill. At Wildwater, the staff spoil you with unique and succulent dishes. There’s a distinct Portuguese influence and because the chef is always creating new and exciting flavours, you’ll become a regular here in no time.

When you walk down Military Road, the eat street in Mosman, there are literally hundreds of great restaurants to choose from. One not to be missed is Alchemy 731 where you can try explosive fine dining without blowing up your budget.
If you want to impress, the salmon dumpling with lobster bisque is a spot on presentation, as is the pan-fried pork belly with black pudding. And while you’re thinking pan-fried, have a try of the barramundi, it’s fantastic.
