This enclosed glasshouse is the only public display of live butterflies of its kind operating in New South Wales and has a display of up to 400 live Australian butterflies all year.

Stroll among hundreds of live butterflies at the Butterfly House in Bonville on the Coffs Coast. See the hundreds of butterflies in the all weather indoor rainforest setting. Your visit will have you revelling in the sheer beauty of the butterflies and you can share the world of the butterfly as they fly, court, mate, sip nectar or rest in the light showing off their fascinating colours and patterns.

Guests will experience the wonder and beauty of the butterfly in its own fully enclosed subtropical garden. Coffs Harbour Butterfly House offers visitors the opportunity to stroll in tranquil surroundings and enjoy the only public display of live butterflies in NSW.
There’s also an outdoor maze for the littlies that will have hunting for clues to answer the quiz.

When it’s time for lunch or you need an afternoon pick me up then pop into The Tearooms. The lovely garden room provides a beautiful setting to relax in and indulge in lovely homemade morning or afternoon teas or light lunches.
