Busking by the beach

For anyone keen to make a buck or just keen to try out their entertainment skills on the public, then busking is usually the way to go. But now there’s also the glory and title of winning the annual Busking by the Beach competition at the Narrabeen Sands Hotel in Narrabeen.

The Busking by the Beach competition is the highlight of the northern beaches summer.

The competition has been a great success in the past, bringing family and friends together for an enjoyable day of entertainment.

This year is shaping up to be the biggest yet so it’s a great day for getting the family and friends together. With loads of entertainment, prizes, giveaways and facepainting for the kids.

Some famous Australian’s have made their start by busking – Adam Brand (country singer), Felicity (fellow Sydney weekender presenter & country singer) and John Butler from The John Butler Trio.

The competition runs over four Saturdays in November, with each week’s finalists battling out in the Grand Final on Saturday 24th November.

Audience participation is encouraged through the people’s choice voting forms which you’ll receive every time you buy a drink at the bar.
