The breathtaking setting of Bonville has seen it described by Peter McWhinney, a respected and much travelled Australian Professional Golfer, as " the most beautiful golf course in Australia, if not the world". But the beauty of Bonville is not confined to Nature's own exquisite handiwork! The Par 72 championship course rises and dips through elegant strands of rainforest, each fairway isolated and private from the next. The great appeal lies in the fact that it will stimulate and challenge golfers of every standard.

The only disturbance as you meander along in the whisper-quiet electric carts might be wildlife scuttling into the bushes or birds singing in the treetops. Look closely into those same treetops and you might spot a family of koalas feasting on the leaves of the Blackbutt, Ironbark and Tallowwood trees.
Indeed Bonville is a natural sanctuary for a wide range of native species including the large black cockatoos, parakeets, water dragons and magnificant goannas. In the evening, swamp wallabies and small kangaroos graze on the light rough.
Bonville has been established for 16 years and was designed with Augusta National Golf Course in mind. It has all the features you would expect of a first class golf resort - motorised carts, refreshment carts, chipping and putting greens, practice fairway, driving range and a well equipped Pro Shop. The refreshment cart operates most days on the course.
Pro Shop
Lessons may be made by appointment with the golf professional and the double storey 1,000 square metre Pro Shop is fully equipped with the latest in golfing equipment and up-market resort wear accessories. Men's and ladies clubs and shoes are also available for hire.
A new addition to the superb facilities on offer is Bonville's own Golf Driving Range. Purchase a basket of balls at the Pro shop and warm up in style before you head out onto the golf course. The Driving Range is also the ideal location for a lesson from our resident Golf Pro whether you are on your own or part of a group.

Flooded Gums is the restaurant at Bonville and refers to the gum trees that define the golf course.
After golf, dine in the charming federation style clubhouse where you will enjoy the pick of Australian wines and fine dining in the award winning Flooded Gums Restaurant, while gazing over the flood lit fairways and reliving the memories of the day's golfing adventure.

The Flooded Gums Restaurant is open seven days a week from 6.30am for a continental buffet breakfast through to late at night for dinner, with an a la carte menu featuring a modern Australian menu. Lunch is a la carte with morning and afternoon tea snacks also available.
