Best of all you can leave the car at home because all the excitement happens right in the middle of the Bankstown City Plaza, next to Bankstown Railway Station.

Bankstown Bites also offers free Bankstown Discovery Food Tours. There’s a range of tours to choose depending on your flavour – pick from sweet treats, European delights or Middle Eastern tasty treats to name a few.

Local guides will help you find the best baklava, the freshest produce, the biggest variety of teas and the largest Pho restaurant outside of Vietnam!

Fast Eddie from Channel 7’s Better Homes and Gardens is the celebrity chef at this year's Bankstown Bites food festival and he’ll be doing three free cooking demonstrations. It will be well worth the trip to go along and discover the cuisine that locals call Bankstown-Fusion – yum! You’ll love the hidden and tasty delights of this multicultural city.

With over 150 eateries, delis and fresh produce stores to tempt you, we are sure you will want to come back again and again to this vibrant city.
